Yeah -- hey

Yeah!

There was a cool programmer

Workin' writin' code for the man

And always fixed the problems -- yeah

Writin' routines by hand

And everything around me, yeah

Got to stop to feelin' so low

And I decided quickly -- Yes I did

To wander down and check out the show

There was an abend

and dumpin'

and crashin' to the blastin'

And just when it hit me

Somebody turned around and shouted

"Fix that funky virus now boy!"

"Fix that funky virus right!"

"Fix that funky virus now boy!"

"Pump up that firewall and fix that funky virus till you die!"

"Till you die, oh till you die!"

Spoken: Gonna fix that "ILOVEYOU" bug funky virus -- yeah

Spoken: Hey wait a minute!

Now first it wasn't easy

Changin' firewalls and minds

And things were getting shaky

I had to write five hundred lines

But now it's so much better

Spoken: it's so much better

I've got the logic in an array

But I'll never lose that feelin'

Spoken: no I won't

Of how I learned my lesson that day
