Visiting my Momma & Daddy in Cohutta, GA - 07/11- 7/26/09 We went swimming in Farmer's Lake spring almost every day, we went fishin' a few times across the road, we visited Red Clay Park right down the road, we took a trip to Chickamauga Battlefield in Chickamauga, TN, and generally had fun building a teepee and pickin' black and blue berries, grapes, tomaters, potaters, peppers, and lots more with Momaw and Pappy. It started with a big stick. There was much jealousy - as much there can be with three boys. The stick fell onto another stick and there on the front lawn an idea was born ... a log cabin. Click on over and see my pioneerin' boys hoistin' logs and raisin' up a log cabin!! |

Fishin' in Cohutta, GA - 06/04/09 The boys got to spend TWO weeks all by themselves in Cohutta, GA with Mommaw and Pappy.They had a blast, and after a couple of years of therapy Mommaw and Pappy will be back to normal! Here are some shots of the boys fishin'!! |

FEBRUARY 2009. Our 9th grade son Josh, is a member of the Thompson High School (THS) varsity wrestling team. This 2008-2009 season was THS's second year having a wrestling team and THS had seven (7) wrestlers qualify to go to the 2009 State Tournament at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL. Josh was THS's 145-pound qualifier. Below is a video I put together for these talented boys. |
