Why is a humor writer selling fudge? Read on and you'll
see that I do much more than write. Proceeds from your purchase(s)
help support this site (and to show my husband that this site is
worth the effort that I put into it!). :~) Thank You! |
As y'all can tell from reading my pages, I love to cook almost as much as I love to make y'all laugh. Sure 'nuff, lots of my dishes are good, but there is one thing I make that's famous among family, friends, and neighbors ... my fudge.
Oh yeah, my fudge is just like that delicious buttery make-you-wanna-slap-yourself fudge that Granny used to make. It's creamy and just a teensy bit grainy - just enough because, well heck, it's homemade fudge! It just melts on your tongue making you wanna holler. My candies are hand-made [nope, I didn't use my feet] here in my Alabama kitchen with ingredients bought fresh from my local grocery store. Plus, I get my pecans fresh so that the flavor is the best.

I mean ... just look at this fudge bubbling on my stove! Don't believe me? Click here for some testimonials.
Many of you have emailed me complaining about your fudge and how it never turns out right, and is either harder than a 3-year-old's head or stickier than a melted caramel apple. I can't recommend any candy therapists, but will recommend that you get a good candy thermometer and to not get your fudge mixture hotter than 235º or 236º! I'll share my chocolate fudge recipe with you, just click HERE to see it. Good luck, y'all!
OK, wipe yer mouth and check out the flavors I have: (Click on the photo for a larger mouth-watering picture)

It has just the right amount of cocoa to make you lose control and eat the entire batch yourself. You can also order Extra-Chocolaty Chocolate Fudge with no additional cost, just additional cocoa. Ingredients: sugar, cocoa, milk, corn syrup, salt, and butter. Click HERE for recipe. |
Chocolate-Pecan Fudge This is my chocolate fudge with fresh pecan chunks mixed in. If you like your chocolate fudge extra chocolaty, just tell me you want Extra-Chocolaty Chocolate-Pecan Fudge. Ingredients: sugar, cocoa, pecan pieces, milk, corn syrup, salt, and butter. |

Peanut Butter Fudge This fudge is popular with the nutty folks. You can get either the smooth, melt-in-yo-mouth Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge or the Crunchy Peanut Butter Fudge with delicious bits and chunks of roasted peanuts. Just tell me, and I'll whip up a batch JUST FOR YOU. Ingredients: sugar, creamy or extra crunchy peanut Jif(TM) butter [choosy mommas choose Jif(TM), yanno], evaporated milk, salt, and butter. |
Penuche Like brown sugar? Then this fudge is for you! Say it with me "Peh-noo-chee!" It means "brown sugar fudge that makes you drool down your shirt." This yummy fudge is sweeter than the other fudges and its old fashioned taste is a perfect treat for the holler-days. Penuche is wonderful with walnuts! Add $3 and I'll add a big heap of walnuts to your batch of Walnut Penuche. Another variation is Maple Syrup Penuche - heavenly! Ingredients: sugar, light brown sugar, milk, corn syrup, salt, and butter. (And fresh walnuts, if preferred.) |

Pralines Whether you call these "pray-leens" or "prah-leens" you'll love these 2-3-inch in diameter monster soft fudge pecan wonders. You'll groan with delight when you put these in your mouth. Oh man, I have to get my daughter to hide these from me or I'll eat them all. Burp. Oh and if you're feeling like trying something new, you should order my CHOCOLATE pralines! I ordered some cocoa to a batch of pralines one time, and they were awesome! Ingredients: sugar, light brown sugar, evaporated milk, pecan halves, corn syrup, salt, and butter. |
Chocolate-Peanut Butter Fudge My daughter suggested that I try layering my peanut butter and chocolate fudges together and see what happened. Talk about rich! Ingredients: sugar, crunchy/creamy Jif peanut butter [choosy mommas choose Jif, yanno], cocoa, milk, corn syrup, salt, and butter. |
Your fudge is made as soon as I receive your payment and is mailed either the same day or the next day (at the latest).
I don't sell my fudge by the pound, but by the batch. Just so you know:
I accept credit cards (thru Paypal.com) and money orders. Also, a friend told me about PayingFast.com as another way to pay. I've received a money order this way, and it works great.

Okay, I hate to say it, but I have to go to a flat shipping rate. Estimating the weight (70% of the time I'm wrong) and then searching in my basement for an appropriately-sized box is making me want to pull my hair out. I found the coolest thing at the Post Office - it's called a "Flat Rate" box. No matter what the weight, it will always cost $8.10 for Priority mail - and get this: they provide the boxes!
So from now on, shipping in the continental US for fudge is $8.10 + $0.50 (delivery confirmation) = $8.60. They have two sizes of boxes, so this same rate should work for several batches of fudge. Currently, I can get two (2) batches of fudge in a box (using the Gladware entree-sized container), but there are other options. For example, I can package the fudge in smaller containers to get more fudge in a box. Just know that I will work with you to try and save money. I promise that I'm not trying to "getcha" with inflated shipping costs. :o)
Do you want your fudge shipped out of the US? Well, email me and we'll talk about it. I'm not really sure about it, but we'll see.
I ship the fudge in a Gladware container - all ready for you to dig into and enjoy! See?

Tip: When your fudge arrives, hold onto the sides and slightly push up on the bottom and the fudge will pop out of the container. Take it out slice off what you need, put the rest back in the container and either put on the shelf (for no more than a week), or keep in the fridge (no more than ... uh ... a couple of months - I think - mine never lasts more than a day or two).
Clear as mud? Well click on over to my order form and tell me what you want! -OR- If you'd rather email me, then shoot me an email at KudzuQueen (at) bellsouth (dot) net and tell me what you want!
Wanna send fudge as a gift? I can create a card (free of course) and add some reading material (a few of my stories, cartoons, recipes, etc.) to the fudge and you'll send the perfect sweet, funny, sentimental, and delicious gift to your sweetie, friend, neighbor, or even your Momma!
Hey, if you want to send the fudge as a gift and want something more than a card and some stories, I can add some Southern Angel items! I have humor booklets and inspirational booklets ($2), audio-books ($5-6), and even gem stone, glass beaded jewelry and key chains! (The jewelry is new so ask for photos. Give me a color and I'll TRY to make you whatever you want: necklace, bracelet, keychain, cellphone lariats, and more!)
Oh, and I'll definitely throw in a free personalized card ... that ain't too expensive, now is it?
